Well, the 19th Annual Tishomingo Fall Classic Tournament is finally "in the books"!

I guess the good things in life take a little time.  At least that's what they say!  Looking at the results, we were able to pull several interesting stats from the tournament:

  • A field of twenty-one in Pro Open!  What's up with that?  Great turnout, and a nice win for Bobby Armstrong!
  • 102 Players! Boom! Another abnormality for North Mississippi events!   Great turnout!
  • New Players!  Close to 40% of the players in this event had not played in a prior Mississippi event earlier in the year.  Possibly it was an array of Tennessee and Alabama neighbors visiting, but new players to Mississippi events is certainly wonderful to see!  It also shows the love of the Tishomingo courses enjoy and the avid love for the sport in this area!
  • Player of the event .....  Destin Schuster in Junior Boys division!  Anyone who tosses their disc 348 times over the course of the tournament deserves recognition.  Great job Destin!

Our thanks and appreciation to Michael and Shannon for hosting a great event.
